Hi friends! We've almost made it through a week of this training thing and I'm starting to figure out a routine. Fridays I plan to write about yet another non-running aspect of this program. Time on the yoga mat is so important, both for muscles and joints, but also for mind. I believe in the power of yoga so much, I got certified to teach it after we opened our Yoga+Fitness studio in Tulsa. I'm looking forward to sharing that piece of this puzzle with you!
Today was not a mileage day, although I did consider getting those two miles I skipped yesterday. We had threats of storms and still ridiculous winds here all day so I opted out of those miles. I'll get them back eventually.
Instead, I did the first level of the plyometric workout for runners, and 13 30:30 sprints. Tonight I'm working a prom event at my side hustle gig and is it just me or do high schoolers look a lot younger than we felt at that age?!
